Reading and writing the five vowels in English and Spanish
Tracing patterns to practice fine motor skills
Naming and identifying their emotions in English and Spanish by creating an emotions wheel based the Canticos song “If You’re Happy and You Know It/ Si Estas Feliz”

NOTE TO GROWN UPS

Asking children to name their emotions is an important first step to regulating their emotions. Encourage them to voice how they are feeling by asking them directly, and have them explain their feelings. “I am feeling ___ because…”
