We all want our kids to be well-mannered citizens of the world and teaching them to be so shouldn\u2019t have to be boring.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>While manners include everything from saying \u201cplease\u201d and \u201cthank you\u201d to offering compliments and exhibiting proper etiquette at the dinner table, the easiest place to start teaching manners is with greetings.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Proper greetings like \u201cHello\u201d or \u201cGood morning\u201d are the first step for your little one to establish a relationship with a new friend or to make a great first impression with her teacher at the start of the school day.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Here are a few tips to help your little ones practice greeting phrases:<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Use Songs<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:list --><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There are so many songs to choose from but our favorite is the very simple but very fun \u201cHello, good morning\u201d. \u00a0Watch our Little Chickies greet each other and greet the day in our catchy sing-along video<strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">\u00a0<a class=\"clr-1\" style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/oldsite.canticosworld.com\/#good-morning\">here<\/a>.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list --><!-- wp:list --><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>They can learn these phrases in English and in Spanish&#8230;so they can greet twice as many friends!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list --><!-- wp:list --><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A simple \u201chello\u201d in someone\u2019s native language goes a long way to establish a connection with someone. Nothing makes a person smile more than knowing that a stranger is trying to speak to them in their own language. \u00a0Learning to say \u201chello\u201d in multiple languages can be fun!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list --><!-- wp:list --><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sing in English. Sing in Spanish. Sing in both!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list --><!-- wp:list --><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sing every morning to salute the day with joy and to establish the behavior.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><strong>Role Play: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:list --><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use your child\u2019s favorite stuffed animals and throw a pretend tea party or birthday party. \u00a0Ask your child to greet each animal as he\/she arrives at the party with phrases like \u201cHello\u201d and \u201cThanks for coming.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list --><!-- wp:list --><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can respond with your most sweet bunny voice with \u201cHi.
